Tadalafil is sold under the brand name Cialis, and is the brand name of the drug.
In June, the FDA approved the use of the drug to treat ED, including diabetes, in men over age 65 and women of childbearing age, with an estimated 10 percent of men with ED take the drug.
The agency also approved tadalafil, which is sold under the brand name Levitra, to treat pulmonary hypertension in men and in some cases, to treat ED, including but not limited to high blood pressure and ED.

“I think it’s going to be a little bit more of a letdown in the ED and sexual dysfunction field than anything else,” said Woodcock.
“I think we’re seeing some of those real improvements in the last few months,” Woodcock added.
